A satisfactory seedbed is obtained with one\/two machine passes, while maintaining crop residue cover on at least 30% of the surface of the plot.<br>Operations can be carried out with disc harrows or other mounted, semi-mounted or towed tools equipped with working parts that are not moved hydraulically or by PTO. In viticulture, minimal tillage of the sub-row is required to break soil crusts.
